More racing news from Adults and Juniors

Last weekend we had Sam, Jed, Lola, Josh and Serena racing at the inter county nations cross country event on saturday, with outstanding results all round. Serena finishing third overall (with the same time as the second girl and not far from the leader as well) Both Sam and Lola finished second from Dorset and Jed came 141st in a huge field of athletes. Results and more on the event can be found at

Also dusting off his Timetrial bike for the first time this year was Brendan, looking for a qualifying place up North in the Dambuster Duathlon. Despite having a tough week and fighting off the back end of a cold, he put in a great first season race, finishing 5th in his age group overall, with less than 2 minutes separating 2nd to 5th place, securing a qualifying slot. Next event Clumber in a couple of weeks.

This weekend approaching is a busy one as well, as there is another cross country event up north, think this one is a schools one, and surely its the last? Also racing on sunday in the New Forest Sprint Duathlon will be Mark, Clodie, Simon, and, yep…me! Alison, and many tripurbeck athletes will also be racing in the Brutal event in Swanage….results will be posted soon after!
