Outlaw Middle and T100 news.

Another weekend of racing for the goalspecific team, this time all within the UK! Eric was taking on the Outlaw in Nottingham, and Martin headed to London for the T100, along with Katherine, racing the Olympic there this year. Sensible choice of distance after a very nasty crash last year which resulted in a long hospital stay and pins in her elbow. I have a lot of respect for going back there and racing again after that experience! Martin started first in the T100, with a busy swim, a solid bike, and a conservative run off the back of a groin niggle. A very solid performance considering the concerns leading into the race. Katherine built it from the onset, and a safe bike followed with a great run placed her in 4th in Age group. In Nottingham sadly the swim was cancelled due to algae so a short run replaced the swim, and Eric sensibly paced this well, then went to work on the bike and has literally just finished, winning his age group. Another great result!

Next up is Jonny at Mallory Sprint next week, then its the infamous Alpe D’huez Triathlon the following Wednesday for Jack and Matt followed by St Neots for Christina. All as another heat wave approaches the UK and Europe.
