More off season results!

Despite the continual rain in the UK, the Goalspecific athletes are still lining up for some winter running events. Congratulations to Katherine winning her age group in the Watford half marathon a few weeks ago, as part of a training run! The strength incorporation is definitely helping, and good luck for next weeks Hyrox competition! Kevin but in a blistering first 5k in his midweek 10k race, though a niggle in his hamstring meant sensibly easing off for the latter half, but still posted a great time. Last weekend Martin posted one of his fastest Half marathons in Bath, and Becky posted a pb, whilst Samuel ran a blistering 1.20. Melanie also raced a solid half at Hampton court, all good prep for the upcoming London marathon! And Emma went back to back with her gravel racing, with another solid performance. Only 5 weeks now until the 200km gravel event! Very exciting.

Mark is up next in the Reading half next week, then its countdown to some tris in April as we head back out to Gran Canaria and of course there is the london marathon!

Meanwhile Annie and I are out in Lanzarote, with Eric and Jonny heading out this week to battle the wind, and sadly rain over the next few days. Maybe for 2027 we will add Lanzarote to the goalspecific training blocks! :)
